NACIN ZTI CHANDIGARH

National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN) Zonal Campus Chandigarh, was set up at Chandigarh consequent to restructuring and reorganization exercise undertaken by the Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC) in May, 2017. NACIN is presently functioning from the Central Revenue Building, 2nd Floor, Sector 17, Chandigarh since June, 2017. NACIN Chandigarh imparts training to Officers/Staff in the field of Indirect Taxes (Goods and Service Tax, Customs, Central Excise and Narcotics control administration) and also conducts GST training programmes for the State Government officers from the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, J&K and Chandigarh as well as from Central and State Government Undertakings. NACIN plays a key role in capacity building in the area of Customs and GST, enabling the field officers to develop requisite skills for keeping pace with the current international developments and the changing tax administration scenario in the country.

NACIN, Chandigarh conducts Induction Courses for newly recruited/promoted Inspectors and Executive Assistants/Tax Assistants/Lower Division Clerks. NACIN, Chandigarh also conducts Refresher courses and Specialized Courses on GST, Customs, Indirect Taxes and General administration etc. for all cadres in the Chandigarh GST Zone.
