Consequent to the re-organisation of NACIN in the GST regime, two new RTIs were proposed at RANCHI and RAIPUR in the year 2017.

R.T.I. at Ranchi (Now Regional Campus, Ranchi) could be fully operationalized in the month of September, 2018 and since then various training programmes on GST as well as other relevant topics have been successfully conducted at this institute for the officers of CGST & SGST and other stakeholders in the state of Jharkhand.

The jurisdiction of this Training Centre covers whole state of Jharkhand which includes CGST & CX Commissionerate, Ranchi; CGST & CX Commissionerate, Jamshedpur; CGST & CX Audit Commissionerate & CGST & CX Appeal Commissionerate having a total strength of 498 officers besides SGST officers of Jharkhand.

At present, the academy is functioning from a rented building situated at 1st Floor, Grand Emerald, Ashok Nagar, Kadru-Argora Road, Ranchi-834002.
