Zonal Training Institute (ZTI), Patna is catering to the training needs of the officers/staffs posted under the jurisdiction of CGST & CX, Ranchi Zone, Patna and Commissioner, Customs (P), Patna, which covers two states namely Bihar & Jharkhand. This Institute is a centre of excellence for Human Resource Development, enhancement of knowledge, skills and competencies of departmental frontline officers working in Bihar and Jharkhand states as well as State GST officers of Bihar for capacity building and to prepare themselves for smooth implementation of new enacted Act i.e.GST.

Apart from the conventional training on subject relating to Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, GST and Narcotics, emphasis is also placed on capacity building in Stress Management, Yoga and management of health, Personality development,  Leadership & Change Management, Ethics & Morality etc.

Our mission is to foster a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, integrity, leveraging technology and commitment to taxpayer services among the Trainee-officers, who are the face of the GST & Customs Department.
