Zonal Training Institute (ZTI), Patna caters to training needs of the officers/staffs posted under the jurisdiction of CGST & CX, Ranchi Zone, Patna and Commissioner, Customs (P), Patna, which covers two states namely Bihar & Jharkhand.The Institute aims at excellence in Human Resource Development of departmental frontline officers as well as State GST officers of Bihar for capacity building and to prepare themselves for smooth implementation of new enacted Act i.e.GST.

Apart from the conventional training on subjects relating to Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, GST and Narcotics, emphasis is also placed on capacity building in Stress Management, Yoga and Management of Health, Personality Development,  Leadership & Change Management, Ethics & Morality etc.

Our mission is to foster a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, integrity, leveraging technology and commitment to taxpayer services among the Trainee-officers, who are the face of the GST & Customs Department.
