SOME ACHIEVEMENTS OF NACIN SHILLONG IN THE RECENT PAST (APRIL 2023 – AUGUST 2024)

• Workshop on Cyber Forensic, Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics was held on 22.06.2023through Hybrid Mode and 63 officers participated in the workshop.
• Physical Drill and Arms Training for IRS officers at DC level was conducted at NEPA, Umiam, Meghalaya from 17.07.2023 to 21.07.2023 and 21 (Twenty-one) officers participated in the training.
• Three days "Train the Trainers Workshop to combat illegal trade in HCFCs” was conducted from 20.11.2023 to 22.11.2023. A total number of 22 Gr. A & B officers from all over India attended the workshop.
• One day training of Customs officials engaged in Food Import Clearance System held on 11.12.2023. FSSAI Officials from New Delhi and Guwahati delivered lectures
• Two days Management Development Programme for IRS officers of the rank of Joint commissioner and above was held at IIM Shillong on 26th & 27th February, 2024; 25 No. of IRS officers from all over India attended the training.
• Three days training on GST Audit of Banking Sector for Centre and state GST Audit officers from 27th to 29th May, 2024 at Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute, Shillong.
• Successfully signed Memorandum of Understanding with all the State GST department of NE states in the presence of Director General, NACIN.
