Ashoka Vana

Inspired by the Ramayana, this Ashoka Vana is centered around the Ashoka tree (Saraca asoca), an endemic and rare species of South India, known for its medicinal value. As the name signifies, "Ashoka" means the removal of grief, symbolizing relief and healing. In tribute to this tree's cultural significance, the garden features select trees from the original Ashoka Vatika, with a focus on Saraca asoca. The garden is designed around a rocky cave, crafted from abundant natural rocks, creating a serene space that honors the tree’s legacy while fostering reflection and healing.
